In the vehicle electrification division, researchers are dedicated to the study and development of technologies aimed at vehicle electrification.

This includes not only the study of electric motors for electric vehicles (EVs) and the improvement of battery management systems, but also research into solutions to electrify auxiliary systems, such as hydraulics and pneumatics, aiming to optimize the overall efficiency of the vehicle. In the global context, vehicle electrification is an increasingly present trend, driven by environmental concerns and stricter regulations regarding pollutant gas emissions.

Countries around the world are investing heavily in electric vehicle research and development and charging infrastructure to promote this transition. In Brazil, vehicle electrification is also on the rise, especially in the public and freight transportation segment, where there has already been an increase in the adoption of electric buses and trucks. In addition, there is growing interest in the electrification of agricultural implements, seeking to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and operational costs for rural producers.
